Globalvision is seeking an intern to join us in support of our mission to promote the use of communications and media for social change. The intern will work with the Executive Producer of Globalvision to expand a diverse and sustainable funding partnership base to ensure sufficient development growth to support the foundation's programmatic activities and the not for profit media work of Globalvision and Mediachannel.org.

Assignments vary according to individual experience. Because the company is small, a broad range of opportunities is available, from research to editing to assisting onshoots. This is an excellent opportunity to learn first hand how to research, shoot, do sound, dub, log, transcribe, edit and market television programs.

| EDUCATION, SKILL, AND QUALIFICATIONS |
 Graduate-level student preferred (qualified undergraduates may be considered)
Interest in nonprofit operations and mechanics of relationship building
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work with limited supervision
Ability to meet multiple deadlines
PC and Internet literacy with knowledge of Word, Excel and Access
The internship is available immediately for a minimum of 2 days/week and 16 hours/week. The intern will begin as soon as is available and will work a minimum of 12 weeks, with a schedule to be worked out between intern and supervisor. Resumes will be considered until either the position is filled. There is, unfortunately, no stipend.
Candidates must be able to work out of our New York city office at 575 8th Avenue, New York l0018. Globalvision will not pay for candidates relocating to the New York area.
